Collagen for Vegetarians (Kiwi AC+)

In line with getting healthier, I am starting to move towards vegetarianism. I used to be a regular collagen consumer but not when I have become a vegetarian.

Certain collagen tablets are fish, pig, chicken or cow based. I avoid these products major reason is because I typically feel that eating animals directly or indirectly promotes animal cruelty. Furthermore, some sources of collagen actually bring on an allergic reaction in me, especially shellfish.

So I struggled to find a collagen that is for vegetarian. Then, here come the angel.... Nicole, delivered a pack of Kiwi AC+ (10 sachets) to me. And she packed it in a lovely way, awesome! I just couldn't wait to unwrap it *teehee*

What is Kiwi AC+ (Japan Top Selling!)
Kiwi AC+ is a natural beauty drink designed from Japan to fight against Asian skin’s troubles. Perfectly balances sebum secretion, while enhances the anti oxidization and anti inflammation properties, giving the most natural solution to clear the acne, refines open pores, lightens post acne marks/scars and strengthen skin’s immunity and self repair. The secret of Japanese porcelain skins! 日本祛痘の秘法,パーフェクトレシピ

And how this product is essentially different from other similar products is that Kiwi AC+ accumulates the functional actives at least 10 times concentrated than normal golden kiwi fruit, acerola cherry, pomegranate, pineapple and red beets.

Why are these ingredient important?
  1. You might not able to consume and adsorb the fresh fruit at this high quantity; meanwhile the sugar level in fruits might become another concern as well.
  2. Without Vitamin C, collagen cannot be absorbed and fully function. Besides that, Vitamin C also the precursor for collagen production in our body. Even Kiwi Ac+ doesn't contain any collagen ingredients, but still able to activate your body to produce collagen itself.
Although just 10 sachets (last me 7 days), as an add on to my daily skin care regime, I can already feel that my skin condition is getting better. Less breakout and less tired looking dull skin. Especially reduce on skin inflammatory which has annoyed me for more than couple months. I feel more confident now even if without make-up.

As mentioned, this product extracted the concentration of the fruits. For those who are afraid of fishiness since collagen is mainly derived from fish (scale and skin), this is a good news! Also, it would be the alternative beauty natural fruit drink for vegetarians.

You can read more about Kiwi AC+ and purchase from here. You will be amazed with this product!

A Short Trip - Chiang Mai version

My past trips to Thailand have been pleasant and memorable. This time around, I am here in Chiang Mai for a business comes with leisure trip. Let me share to you some interesting stuff I have tried so far...

The Best time to Visit Chiang Mai
Dec~Feb are north Thailand's winter months and the days are warm and clearn. A jacket or fleece will come in handy at night. Avoid the hot, humid months of Mac~May, when a haze of dust and smoke (from the burning of rice fields in the north) often forms over Chiang Mai and the surrounding region.

#1: Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi Resort
Formerly known as Mandarin Oriental Hotel. This is a legendary resort.... It's massive like a Kingdom. Looking more like a magnificently restored ancient Thai city than a resort, Dhara Dhevi is better described as a high-end living museum devoted to northern Thai Lanna culture filled with ancient artifacts, painfully accurate architectural recreations, lotus-filled moats, a high-priced market, skilled artisans, fine dining, a massive spa and staff so ready-to-please you wonder if they’re actually robots.

The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, which took five years to build, had no master plan. It was like building a six-acre jigsaw puzzle, says conceptual designer Rachen Intawong.
There is a real Paddy Field in the resort. Can you believe it?!?!
Le Grand Lanna Restaurant
We were highly recommended this restaurant for its settings and food. This restaurant is entirely built of old teak and is on raised stilts. The menu was extensive, featuring some Thai favourites as well. We were also recommended the Lanna cuisine, it's a unique cuisine from the ancient Lanna Kingdom.

#2: Bhubing Royal Palace in Chiang Mai
Bhubing Palace is one of the summer get-away royal residence with beautiful gardens. They have many plants, flowers and trees. The temperate climate high up on Doi Suthep means many of the plants and flowers are unusual to see in most parts of Thailand (if you're from a cold country, the flora may not be able to enlighten you).
There is a water fountain. However, due to misty weather, we weren't able to capture and wonderful water reservoir...

#3: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
The temple is simply referred as Doi Suthep. This is 1 of the highly recommended temple by the local. From the temple, impressive views of Chiang Mai can be seen and it remains a popular destination for tourists. But first, you need to climb up a 300 steps of the intricately carved mythical Naga Serpent Staircase then you will begin to marvel at the splendid view. For those that do not fancy with the 300 steps climb up to the complex, you may want to consider to take the lift for30 Baht.

Also, along the hilltop, there is a tribe village. Personally think that the flora was better than those in Bhubing Palace.

#4: Thai Silk Factory
You will learn the Thai silk history and also the making process. Let the pictures do the talk!

#5: Walking Street
Last but not least, the Walking Street. We kept on hearing people say that "Don't miss the Walking Street!" from every hotel, seriously!! Therefore, how can we miss Chiang Mai's Sunday Walking Street!! It is the largest Night Market in Chiang Mai and it happens every week right in the heart of Chiang Mai's old town. This Chiang Mai market takes place, well, every Sunday starting around 4 p.m. when stalls begin to set up along the old town's central artery, Ratchadamnoen Road, with stalls overflowing onto the streets, lanes, and even the many temples of Chiang Mai  along the street. The Walking Street offers norther handicrafts to food. You'll be overwhelmed by the sheer variety, you name it, I promise!

Here's the end of my business trip. There is more places to be explored. Definitely I will be back for leisure!

Merci....

Italiannies @ the Gardens - POS membership

Due to the heavy traffic after working hours, I and my friend decided to hang around in Gardens and grab dinner before heading home. We went to a restaurant that we ignored for a long time - Italiannies.

I always think that it is worth the visit. Not just only because of the good food, but they do care about customer's feedback.

The Gardens Mall Italiannies is quite huge. Don't let the outer facade fool you, it looks empty but in fact the inner walls of Italiannies was packed with people and pasta, especially on a Friday night. By the way, they are getting a bigger premise just one floor lower.

There are a number of waiters rushing about the whole place. However, it was a bit hard to catch their attention. They were super busy running around, but their service was friendly. They were courteous and made an effort to be friendly.

After the dinner, we were given a loyalty membership card which conjunction with other restaurants & boutiques. And now, you can collect points and redeem a discount on your next bill which is a good news to me so that I can visit here more oftenly!

Merci. xx.

Camera Rolling (A Journey to Beijing)

After a 2 years, I was back in Beijing for another business trip.
This time, I managed to pay a visit to several places that I did not go.

Previously, I have talked at length thousands of my business trips.
And now, I would just let my pictures do the talk.
Not simply because of I'm lazy, certainly because of the pictures are way beautiful than having me to work the magic to beautify the destination.

Believe me or not?! Check it out below:
